Thorco Shipping is a young and dynamic shipping company engaged in Ship Owning, Commercial Ship Management, Time Charter Operation, Ship Brokering and tailor made transport solutions. We consider ourselves as a reliable, competent and innovative partner offering efficient services to our clients globally.  

Today Thorco Shipping has own dedicated offices in Brazil, Denmark and Singapore providing timely and professional service to our clients in the major strategically important time zone from New Zealand/Australia in the East through Far East/Asia to the Middle East and Europe/Africa to the Americas in the West. Furthermore, Thorco operates through a tightly woven network og reliable agents worldwide.

The current Thorco fleet comprises of conventional multipurpose tween-deck vessels ranging from 4,100 to 14,000 deadweight, all geared with own cranes up to 200 metric ton capacity, trading worldwide and primarily within the project-, general- and breakbulk cargo segment but also a strong performer in the bulk segment.

Thorco Shipping A/S is a private holding company which sat sails May 2003 as Commercial Managers in the centuries old maritime centre of Svendborg (amongst others, the cradle of A.P.Møller/Mærsk) with affiliated office in Copenhagen and own offices in Singapore and Rio De Janeiro. Thorco Shipping A/S has a registered capital DKK 15 million and is subsidiary of THORNICO Group of Companies.
